Endometriosis and Statins

Research presented by Yale University has given further evidence to support the belief that taking statins (usually used to lower cholesterol levels) may actually help prevent the growth of endometriosis outside the uterus.

If this were the case then the pain, adhesions and infertility might be reduced. It is believed that they work because the drugs stop inflammation and cell proliferation.
