Announcing the Hysteria Writing Competition 2016 Winners

Ta da …. and another drum roll please … it gives me great pleasure to be able to announce the overall Hysteria Writing Competition 2016 winners for each category. Their wins are very well deserved and perfectly capture some simple insights into the lives of women today.

  • Short Story category – Sandra Crook with A ‘Ta Da’ Moment
  • Flash Fiction category – Sharon Telfer with Sea Change
  • Poetry category – Kathryn V Jacopi with Soapbox

And I can also announce the winner of our cover competition; Ann Abineri was the first to guess that it was indeed inspired by Sharon Telfer’s entry ‘Sea Change’. A free copy of the anthology, which is now available to purchase, will be winging it’s way to Ann very shortly.

I’m also pleased to say that the Hysteria 5 anthology is now available to purchase through the Hysterectomy Association shop and Amazon (in paperback and Kindle formats). It will be available in ePub format in the new year.
