Many small businesses fall into one of three camps when it comes to their own online piece of real estate; they have either had a son, sister or friend build a site as a favour; they might have bought something like Front Page and tried to do it themselves or they have paid a web design company to do it for them - and then continue paying every time they want to update something.
Okay, I ought to be able to do this, after all I blog for a living – in fact I’ve been writing on one blog every working day of the week since last March (it helps to be able to schedule posts in advance as that way I get a holiday). But … and it’s a big but, I’ve been promising myself and my readers that I’ll blog more regularly since I started Woman on the Edge of Reality in 2006. I can hardly believe it’s that long ago.
So, here’s the challenge to myself, to blog at least once a week, every week for the next twelve months – I figure that ought to be long enough to create a habit. In the meantime, I’m going to cheat a little and back date this particular post to the end of January rather than the start of February as that way I get a head start and a new post to book ..! Okay, so I’m bad, but at least I’m good at being bad 🙂
