It’s been a while since I did a Writerly Tidbit’s newsletter, in fact the last one was in May …! The reason has been trying to finish off two books at the same time as doing the day job and sorting out the Hysterectomy Association. But, the books are now both finished and published and I’m slowly catching up with both the social networking and my blogging too.
I also decided that I was going to be much more structured about my (soon to be) monthly newsletters as well, with a big emphasis being placed on the wonderful people who have taken part in my Thursday Throng author interviews.
Perhaps the big news of the publishing industry today though is the announcement that Amazon’s founder, Jeff Bezos, has purchased The Washington Post. I wonder what that will do to the concept of Freedom of the Press?
For those who are interested in building their social media platform, Social Media Today has a great little post which has 10 tips to boost your social media traffic.
