Writing Retreat Food and Drink

It’s essential that we eat well while we’re on retreat because it will help us to keep focused and make sure the brain is well nourished.

Breakfast will be a help yourself meal between 7:30 and 9:30am. You’ll be able to help yourself to Muesli, fresh fruit, wholemeal and granary bread (for toast) or porridge oats.

Lunch will be homemade soup, bread, cheese and salad around midday.

Dinner will be a hot meal, vegetables or side dishes as necessary and a pudding.

Snacks, biscuits and cake will be provided during the day and for afternoon tea.

I’ll be providing fruit juice, squash, fizzy mineral water, coffee and a selection of teas you can help yourself to.
