HRT and life improvement

Data produced by the American Heart and Oestrogen Replacement Study of over 2700 women has indicated that, contrary to many studies, HRT does not, in general, improve the quality of life.  However this research was conducted on women who had coronary heart disease. The research showed that for those women who suffered from menopausal symptoms there was an increase in quality of life. Those that did not have menopausal symptoms showed no quality of life improvements when taking HRT.
