Emilie has always loved stories. They explore weird new ideas, and bring people together. After years of reading fantasy and horror she wanted to combine them together into her own dark fantasy.
This week it’s the turn of Bil Richardson on the Thursday Throng. Bil works in many genres, many media and many voices, including Gothic humour with The Frankenstein Adventures. He is an award-winning filmmaker, an artist, playwright, poet and author. He writes humor, horror, poetry, history and more.
This week I’d like to introduce Jo Linsdell, she’s the author of Gunpowder a different take on the plot to blow up the House of Lords and assassinate King James . Born in Kent and brought up in the UK Jo left England and moved to Rome in June 2001, where she now lives with her Italian husband and their two young sons.
And this week we’re welcoming Hugo Negron to the Thursday Throng. He is and author and nn avid fan of myths and fantasy. His background includes an M.A. in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University as well as an M.A. in industrial/organizational psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition, he’s an amateur cartoonist, having taken classes at the Art Institute of Chicago.
This week I’d like to welcome Jamie Marchant to the Thursday Throng. Jamie is a Fantasy author with a string of five books to her name. She lives in Auburn, Alabama, with her husband and four cats, which (or so she’s been told) officially makes her a cat lady. She teaches writing and literature at Auburn University.
This week I’d like to introduce Jim Webster, an English author based in one of my favourite part of the country, Cumbria. He is the author of War 2.2, a combination of war and intrigue set in an alternative universe.
It’s my great pleasure today to welcome an author after my own heart. Anna Belfage, the author of Revenge and Retribution (Book 6 of The Graham Saga) loves lots and lots of tea and lists …. in fact she could be my twin.
AJ Martinez is the author visiting with me on today’s Thursday Throng author interview. AJ is based in Connecticut USA and his aim “to write fantasy stories that will make one soar with the wings of Icarus. To write heart pounding stories to make one wish that the pages will never end.”
This week I’d like to welcome Annie Carter to the first Thursday Throng author interview of 2014. Annie is the author of The Book Beyond Time. The year is 2325 – three hundred years after the Great Catastrophe, which wiped out most of Krinton. It’s now a world ruled by the legendary emperor, Treanthor, where technology is limited, education is discouraged and children become adults on their thirteenth birthday. What would you do in such a situation?
This week I’d like to welcome A. Katie Rose to the Thursday Throng hotseat. Apparently she is a self confessed workaholic who writes in what little remains of her spare time after she’s worked, rescued cats, drunk wine and beer and ridden her horses. The sequel to In a Wolf’s Eye’s, Catch a Wolf, was released in July this year.
