I have been writing since I was a child, mostly about women’s health and business, with the odd, not particularly successful foray into fiction. I also know how hard it can be to get your work in front an interested audience, which is why I created the Thursday Throng author interviews, to put other indie authors in front of a brand new set of people.

The Hysteria writing competition began life in 2012 to raise funds for The Hysterectomy Association. After 22 years, the association website closed and I moved all the content to this site so it wasn’t lost forever. Initially, I planned to close Hysteria as well but realised that I had to give it at least a chance of new life, so brought it over too and will see how it goes in a new home in 2020.
